The daily page
Ten minutes a day, laid out for you
Here is one day, written up. Nothing to design and nothing to decide: just fill the boxes in order, before the market and after the close.
- 1
Date and day
Every page opens with the weekday, the date and the day number out of 60.
- 2
Mood and pre-market plan
Tick the market mood, note Nifty and Bank Nifty levels, and write what you expect and what you will trade.
- 3
The trade log
Five rows: symbol, buy or sell, quantity, entry, stop, target, exit, P&L and R multiple.
- 4
How I felt
Twelve colour-coded emotions to tick, plus intensity, focus and the trigger.
- 5
What went well, what went wrong
Two coloured boxes side by side, so the good and the bad get equal space.
- 6
Mistake tags
Tick M1 to M12 and count them at the end of the week and month.
- 7
Rule check and discipline score
Six yes-or-no rules and a score out of ten, judged on process, not profit.
- 8
The lesson and tomorrow
One lesson from today and one thing you will do differently tomorrow.
- 9
Evening thoughts
Free space for anything else on your mind. This is where patterns hide.
The sample uses illustrative numbers. It is not a trade recommendation.
Every emotion has a colour
See your emotions before they cost you
The market does not move your money; your reaction to it does. Tick the colours you felt each day and, within a few weeks, the weekly tally and the monthly heat map show you the pattern.

What it is not

Questions
What exactly do I get?
A 100-page PDF trade journal, A4 size, laid out like a spiral-bound notebook with colour-coded pages. You download it as soon as your payment is confirmed, and we also email you the link.
Can I type in it?
Yes. Every box, checkbox and emotion tick is a fillable field. It works in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Preview on a Mac and most phone and tablet PDF apps. A few in-app previews (some email apps, for example) cannot fill forms, so open the file in a proper PDF reader.
Can I print it?
Yes, for your own use. The pages are A4. Print at 100% (actual size) and print only the pages you need, such as the week you are in. The left margin leaves room for a hole punch or spiral binding.
Can I write on it with a stylus?
Yes. Import the PDF into GoodNotes, Notability or a similar app and write on it directly. The tabs and the contents page are links that jump between sections.
Is it for equity, futures or options?
All of them. The trade log has columns for symbol, buy or sell, quantity, entry, stop, target, exit, P&L and R, so it fits equity, futures and options alike. It is deliberately not tied to one strategy.
Why 12 weeks?
Twelve weeks (60 trading days) is long enough to turn journaling into a habit and to see real patterns in your emotions and mistakes. The last page is a scorecard to decide what to carry into your next journal.
Is this investment advice?
No. It is an educational tool for recording and reviewing your own trading. It does not recommend any security, and the example numbers are illustrative. Trading involves risk of loss.
Can I share it with a friend?
Please don't. Your licence is personal, and every copy you download carries your name in its footer. Your friend can read the free preview and buy their own copy for the price of a cup of tea.
