Questions
Is this financial advice?
No. It is an educational book. It explains ideas about liquidity, risk and behaviour, and it does not recommend any security or product. Every worked example is illustrative. Investing and trading involve risk of loss, and for decisions about your own situation you should speak to a qualified, registered professional.
Does it tell me what to buy?
No, and that is deliberate. It teaches you how much you can afford to lose, how to size a position, how to build a reserve and how to work out whether a process is worth repeating. Those questions outlast any tip.
I run a shop, not a portfolio. Is it for me?
Yes. Stock is a position, credit given to customers is leverage, and cash in the drawer is an emergency fund. Chapter 16 is written for the shop counter, and shop examples appear throughout the book.
Are the case studies real?
Five are fictional composites, with numbers built so you can check every rupee. Six are real case files, such as Long-Term Capital Management, Barings and Archegos, summarised from public reporting. The sources are listed at the back so you can check them yourself.
How is it different from The Disciplined Trader's Playbook?
The Playbook is a hands-on guide to trading: position sizing, a fixed exit plan, the 15-minute reset and a trade journal. This book is wider. It covers personal finance, emergency funds, leverage, behaviour, simple investing and doing less on purpose. The two work well together.
What format is it, and how do I receive it?
It is a PDF (186 pages) that opens on any phone, tablet or computer. As soon as your payment is confirmed you can download it from the page, and we also email you a link to the download page. Each purchase includes one download, so please save the file where you can find it. If a download fails, contact us with your payment ID and we will send a new link.
